Hi, I am Matt and this is my wife, Valerie. We were Born and raised in New York, but are Virginians by choice. We moved here to beautiful Virginia Beach, in order to give our children the lifestyle, education, and freedom to succeed, that we so desperately wanted for them. We love to go hiking and kayaking in Stumpy Lake, watching our son Gregory play lacrosse, or bike riding with our youngest son, Theodore.
Hi, I’m Jim and this is my awesome other half, Lucy. We still live in New York, and enjoy traveling and spending time with our families. When we are not working our regular jobs, or fixing up our own home, we are working to restore other homes to their maximum potential.
Julie Solomon has been helping people for most of her career. She started out as a Social Worker helping people with physical and/or mental disabilities get back into the workforce. She was successful in assisting them through listening to their needs and placing them into situations that would benefit their overall well-being.
During the next phase of her career Julie applied her counseling and matching skills to the industry of recruitment. There she successfully worked with companies to find and place candidates with career opportunities. She coached and mentored candidates, enabling them to present themselves in the best light to be considered for the position. In 2007 she started her own recruiting firm, Corporate Hiring Solutions. The business is a profitable & thriving business to date.
Over the years Julie has also always had a passion for real estate. She saw an opportunity to merge her passion and ability to counsel and help people and today is a proud partner of Academy Partners.
She was drawn to Academy Partners mission, which is to provide their clients with strong, in-depth real estate knowledge, while treating them with respect, fairness & honesty; a company who conducts themselves to the highest ethical standards.
Cindy brings a wealth of real estate and financial knowledge to Academy Partners. Licensed in real estate since 2012, she has worked in many facets of the business. She has actively worked in residential & commercial real estate, wholesaling, as well as in acquisitions for a multi-family investment firm. She also has a background in conventional and alternative financing.
Merging her business background and overall love for real estate, Cindy is proud to have joined the team at Academy Partners and is excited to help bring its mission to life.
Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. In her free time, she enjoys travel and spending time in nature. She is a mother of two and currently resides in Tampa, FL.
